Charles C. Moore

Charles C. Moore is a retired Unit Supervisor for the Division of Adult Parole Operations in Bakersfield, CA.  A veteran Gospel Announcer for the popular radio broadcast "Gospel Connection", Charles served faithfully for nineteen years and eleven months as a radio host. Charles was a member of the "Gospel Announcers Guild", served on the "Hospitality Committee" of the Gospel Music Workshop of America. 

Charles attended Arizona State University from 1970-1973. He played in the first ever Fiesta Bowl in 1971 and was credited with making the first tackle of the inarguable bowl game. Charles graduated from California State College, Bakersfield in 1977 where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and a Minor in Sociology.  

 Charles started teaching Adult Sunday School in 1975. He became ordained as a deacon in 1980 at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Currently Charles serves as the Assistant Chairman of the Deacon Board  and is a Trustee for the St. Peter's Restoration Community Christian Ministries. 

In 2013,  Charles began teaching a Monday Night Bible Study to the public.  Attendees can attend in person or via Zoom.   

Charles is married to Linda Marie (Milburn) Moore. They are the happy parents of ten children and sixteen grandchildren. 

Charles has been making various Bible charts since 1997. Initially he assumed the charts were for the bible classes he was teaching, but later determined how useful they might be for a larger audience.
